The all-new 3 Series is here, and it’s sporting a fresh new look

The BMW 3 Series, a staple of the German marques current line up and one of the most popular models in its portfolio. It’s seen years of success and is a common sight on Britains roads, and now there’s a new version and this refreshed model has just been debuted at the Paris Motor Show and we were there first hand.

For years motorists have flocked to the BMW 3-Series. Loved because of its purposeful profile, it’s versatile ability and range of features and engines, this truly is premium motoring. This year’s Paris Motor Show sees the wraps come off the refreshed three and thus commences a new chapter for the model.

Hotly anticipated, the new 3 Series not only offers an early glimpse to the future design direction for the rest of the BMW brand but also offers the opportunity to witness new tech and mechanical advances. So there’s the hype, but what to make of this refreshed machine?

At first glance the visual design changes are clear. The new 3 immediately has poise and presence in stronger doses than it’s outgoing predecessor. It has a strong resemblance to the 5-Series, but this is no bad thing, the 5-Series is somewhat of a handsome executive saloon. Taking centre stage is the revised grille and headlight clusters and all new front apron. This theme continues throughout the rest of the car to include detailing on the sides of the vehicle, and new rear headlight clusters and rear apron.

It is clear that BMW’s design team have been allowed free reign and a clean sheet of paper. It looks fresh and contemporary and has visual appeal to rival it’s achingly beautiful Italian counterpart, the Alfa Romeo Giulia.

How this new machine will fare in comparison to the competition and its outgoing predecessor remains to be seen but we look forward to seeing the refreshed 3-Series arriving at our dealerships in the not so distant future. If you are looking for BMW ownership, be sure to visit our website, here.
